My name is Anna Whitford. I am a British textile designer and illustrator with a passion for all things bright and beautiful. I create stunning collections of sumptuously sculptural ring bearer pillows that add an extra piece of luxury to the special day. I also run a stylish stationery and greeting card company called Rosanna Rossi.
I have always loved designing. I was born into a family of artists. My mother is a talented illustrator and my father specialises in painting intricate miniatures. Their home is like a gallery. Every room is presented with colourful paintings, and this was where i grew up. I studied art, fashion and textiles throughout my education and in 2002 I graduating with a First Class Hons Degree in Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art, London.
Throughout my studies i worked alongside some very talented and inspirational designers, however, following my graduation i stepped away from the design industry to work for a glossy fashion magazine assisting fashion stylists. I loved the experience and it opened my eyes to the fashion world, but however much i drooled over the stunning clothes and fabulous accessories, i missed creativity and I craved the idea of going solo.
I moved away from London in 2005 to set up my own small company producing hand-made interior accessories. I was so excited when my first collection of sculptural floral fashion and interior accessories were on the shelves of Liberty's and Heal's.

After numerous magazine features, i was approached by a bride who requested for me to design a bespoke wedding ring pillow for her special day. I designed the petite floral ring pillow, and the feedback meant a lot to me.
I was so proud to have contributed to her wedding day, and after receiving such fantastic response, i began designing more. And so the love of designing wedding ring pillows began.
