BRIDE AND GROOM: A PERFECT DAY

 Last month I was commissioned to design a mini Cream Primrose Wedding Ring Pillow for a bride in Japan, and yesterday i received some lovely images of their special day.

The bride and groom were married in a small church in Tokyo in February, and they had the most perfect day.

I'm so pleased they loved the ring pillow, and that it played a special part in their wedding ceremony. Thank you!

LIFE LATELY

I have been a little quiet these past few months. Alongside creating bespoke wedding ring pillows for lovely brides across the UK and International, i have also been incredibly busy with my greeting cards publishing company Rosanna Rossi. With two back-to-back trade shows at the beginning of this year, and designing new collections for 2013, life is pretty busy.

I also got engaged last October, and am in the process of sending our 'Save the Date' cards. I already have tonnes of creative ideas for the invitations. Exciting!

Whilst things are busy here, I am still taking orders for bespoke ring pillows. Above is a pretty Yellow and Ivory Primrose Ring Pillow i recently designed for a UK bride. A beautiful style perfectly suited for a Spring/Summer wedding.

PRETTY AS A PRIMROSE

I received these lovely photos from an Italian bride who commissioned me to design a Cream Primrose Wedding Ring Pillow a year ago. It was really thoughtful of her to share some images after such a long time.

It's wonderful to know that this pretty primrose ring pillow contributed to making their day so special.

A MID-SUMMERS WEDDING

 I was delighted when my friend announced her engagement a few years ago, and even more so when she commissioned me to design her elegant wedding invitations and ring pillow.

The wedding day was so much fun and it was wonderful to see her so happy. 

The Ivory Waterlily Ring Pillow was a lovely addition to their special day and a keepsake for many years thereafter.

CLASSIC BLACK AND WHITE

I was commissioned to design a classic mini black and white primrose wedding ring pillow for a bride-to-be. I love that she asked to incorporate 'black' and 'white' ribbon ties for 'His' and 'Her' wedding rings. It's a lovely idea which I feel has worked beautifully.

GERBERA FLOWER

I have designed quite a number of Gerbera Wedding Ring Pillows recently. I love this style flower with all its soft, rounded petals. Did you know that the meaning of a Gerbera stems from the attributes to the general daisy family. These meanings include innocence, purity and beauty. It's also one of my favourite flowers due to its 'cheerfulness' appearance and array of vibrant colours. It can lift the spirit and sending one is an ideal way to brighten someone's day.

PINK AND GOLD WEDDING COLOUR THEME

I find metallic gold and the Waterlily flower to be a very striking combination. With its dramatic pointed petals and shimmering leather, it's set to attract attention. I recently designed this beautiful Metallic Gold  and Cream Waterlily Ring Pillow to complement a cream/ivory/gold/bronze wedding colour theme. We introduced a hint of peach for the ribbon ties for an extra touch of prettiness. 

I also created a NEW gorgeous mini Pink and Cream Primrose Ring Pillow (size 14x14cm) I love this size as it's so easy to handle, and of course it looks ultra-cute!

A BEAUTIFUL MARRIAGE

My job is most enjoyable when I receive such positive feedback from brides, especially when I also receive wedding photos of their special day.

The bride requested a Mini Ivory Primrose Wedding Ring Pillow for her bridesmaid to carry down the aisle. The mini ring pillow is an alternative to my larger style I produce, as it's ideal to hold for a little bridesmaid or ring bearer, just like this beautiful bridesmaid!

I'm so pleased to hear the bride and groom had a wonderful day, and that the Floral Ring Pillow was the final little detail to their beautiful marriage. Thank you!

MINI FLORAL WEDDING RING PILLOWS

Has this got to be the sweetest little ring bearer pillow?

I designed the mini 10x10cm Cream Primrose Ring Pillow for a client, and it's proving to be a popular size with brides asking for something a little smaller. The pillow is so petite, it can fit snuggly in the palm of your hand. I think i've have fallen in love with the adorable size, and can see it becoming my new favourite!

THE CUTEST LITTLE WEDDING RING BEARER

 I was commissioned to create an Ivory Primrose Wedding Ring Pillow recently, and today the bride very kindly sent me the most adorable black and white photo of her sweet daughter carrying the Primrose Ring Pillow. Isn't it just lovely! I'm so happy to say that the bride loved her ring pillow, and it was 'exactly what she was looking for.'

JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS

To mark 60 years of the Queens reign, the Diamond Jubilee is taking place this coming weekend.

To mark this, we are lucky to have an extended weekend. Hooray!

Everywhere I turn there are masses of union jack flags flying high, with red, white and blue merchandise displayed in lots of shops and streets preparing a huge party. Let's just hope the weather holds!

FLORA-TASTIC

I recently designed these gorgeous bespoke Floral Wedding Ring Pillows. My new love is the Daisy style (pictured top right.) The brighter the daisy flower, the more stunning it looks. I do love a good splash of colour.

PRETTY IN IVORY

My sewing machine and I have been super busy recently with an influx of bespoke Wedding Ring Pillow commissions. Here are just a few gorgeous Ivory Ring Pillows which I dispatched earlier this week. 

Also featured are two beautiful wedding cards taken from our greetings card company Rosanna Rossi. These pretty cards are from our popular 'Cherish' wedding card collection. I thought the illustrations  looked really pretty against the fabric sculptured flowers.

My sewing machine and I have been busy creating some gorgeous, colourful wedding ring pillows lately. Including this pretty Gerbera and Ivory Ring Pillow, which I recently made for a wedding with a colour theme of fuchsia and ivory with a hint of grey.

DELICATE LACE DETAIL

 I designed a beautiful Cream Gerbera Wedding Ring Pillow that incorporated a very pretty matching lace ribbon tie. The bride requested a hint of lace as part of her wedding ring pillow, and after a little searching we found the perfect match. Lace brings a lovely touch of vintage to the theme and as you can see it works beautifully.

I'm excited to announce that these beautiful coloured lace trims (pictured above) are now available to incorporate as ring ties for your wedding pillow.

The coloured lace ties are available in pink, light blue, black, light grey, cream and ivory. I'm not sure which colour I would choose as they are all so lovely!

SPLASHES OF COLOUR

 I love designing bespoke wedding ring pillows as you never know what gorgeous requests your'll be creating next.

I recently designed this fabulous Fuchsia Daisy Wedding Ring Pillow to complement the bride and grooms colourful wedding theme. I love an array of warm colours to brighten up a wedding, and this certainly feels cheerful and celebratory.

IN FULL BLOOM

A few weeks ago I received an email from a lady who fell in love with my floral interior cushions, which I used to make years ago. Due to the demand for floral wedding ring pillows, sadly these gorgeous interior cushions were pushed aside. It was really great to make these two, as I always love seeing the end result, and the style and colours work really well together. 

The colourful cushions, which measure 14x14" square, are on there way to Singapore to a lovely home.

ELEGANT IVORY WEDDING INVITATIONS

 I was commissioned to design day and evening wedding invitations to complete the bride and grooms elegant wedding theme. Along with this, I also designed a striking Ivory Waterlily Wedding Ring Pillow, which complemented beautifully with the invitations.

The bride requested an elegant feel to the invitations that incorporated a single crystal on a ribbon, which is also reflected on her wedding dress. The silver foil text was printed on an oyster pearl card, then mounted on a matching ivory board. Each invite was then finished with a tiny gem and pearl stone. I'm so pleased with the finished result, and look forward to the photos of their big day later this year.
